Flying in my Daydreams

When nothing seems to matter everything makes sense,
Almost like the view thru a microscopic lens.
All of what's surrounding fades and disappears,
A once blurry perspective has now become so clear.

A reason to worry or fear no longer exists,
Reality is created when one consistently insists.
Creating a world through whatever your focus,
Create your misery as well as your bliss.

Dismissing irrelevant minor details,
Blindfolding my sight with a sheer veil.
Focusing on others just for a sense of comfort,
In the end it will be me who falls short.

Trying to face the real problem at hand,
I realize alone I can't stand.
Without the aid of others, i have nothing,
When i come to the table, what will i bring.

Lost and aimlessly roaming,
Exhaust from constantly trying.
Dreaming of one day flying,
But wings are necessary to fly.
I suppose Ill gaze a little longer into the sky,
And imagine all i could do if only I'd try.
